SHAPE® was one of a handful of industry-leading brands selected to participate in The Retreat, a fitness and wellness festival dedicated to athleisure “A Trend That Became a Lifestyle.”
Hosted at the Soho Beach House in Miami, The Retreat included four days of workshops, panel discussions, runway presentations, fitness classes, and a curated pop-up shop of the season’s new arrivals.
The SHAPE runway presentation took place on Friday evening before a room full of fitness enthusiasts. Marietta Alessi, Digital Editor for SHAPE magazine, kicked off the show by reminding guests that SHAPE’s collection, inclusive of sizing up to 3X, supports women at all stages of their fitness journey. Highlights of the presentation included nature-inspired prints, neon brights, studio-to-street styles, and performance technology. No one should have to compromise looking cute while working hard on their personal best, right!?
Throughout the rest of the weekend, industry experts and editors had the opportunity to visit the Bollare VIP HUB to handpick the new season’s styles and test the superior quality and fit of the garments. Guests received a fabulous gift bag with a Love My SHAPE tank from the SHAPE activewear collection, as well as a Kriya Veda travel yoga mat and duffel bag, and a pair of Tiem cycling shoes.
On the final day of The Retreat, SHAPE’s Brand Director for the activewear collection, Sheena Mahtani, took to the stage for a panel discussion hosted by Jessica Cruel, Beauty & Style Editor for SELF, alongside representatives from Beyond Yoga, Heroine Sport and Luli Fit. Sheena talked about when and why the activewear collection was launched, the brand’s biggest win to date, and what the future of the SHAPE collection will look like.

Backed by a leading manufacturer in athletic wear for the past 40+ years, we’ve been able to take this industry knowledge expertise and pair it with all the inspiration from the pages of the magazine to create a beautiful and functional product at an affordable price.
“We launched our extended size range only a year after introducing the activewear collection- a huge accomplishment for the team to further our promise to support all women.
